- Invotex supports the Department of Justice in its efforts to combat healthcare fraud. We examine medical claims data for aberrant billing behavior, known fraud schemes, change statistics and identification of outliers. Our work supports active investigations and the generation of new targets.
- As the court-appointed receiver to a provider of specialized healthcare services, our professionals were responsible for day to day operations, financial accounting and remediation of licensing problems. We successfully rehabilitated the company and transitioned it to new management.
- Our professionals assessed the fair market value of intellectual property contributions made by a medical device manufacturer's physician consultants. The analysis was part of the client's submission to an independent Monitor and the DOJ in connection with its ongoing discussions regarding its physician consultant program. In addition, we worked closely with the client to develop and implement processes and tools to evaluate future physician consultant contributions.
