A director with Invotex Group, Karen Wang has more than 16 years experience providing a variety of consulting services, including litigation services, royalty compliance, restructuring services and valuations. Her experience with IP-related matters involves damage analyses and valuations related to large, complex IP infringement matters as well as royalty compliance studies for both international and Fortune 500 companies. Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, Ms. Wang leads the firm's royalty compliance projects in Asia. In addition to her IP engagements, she has managed complex litigation projects and has prepared damage analyses on behalf of the U.S. government and commercial clients in the areas of breach of contract, fraud, employee theft, antitrust and intellectual property. In her work with U.S. Department of Justice, Ms. Wang managed several large complex breach of contract litigation matters involving the thrift industry. In her work with commercial clients, she has managed and prepared damage analyses and valuations relating to patent, copyright, and trademark infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, and antitrust claims for clients in the telecommunications, semiconductors, auto parts, Investment banks, mortgage company, office product manufacturing, nursery product manufacturing, biotechnology, consumer electronic products, and dairy industries. The types of damage analyses include calculation of lost profit, price erosion, reasonable royalty, unjust enrichment, pre-judgment interest and lost of business value. |
