Tom Finnell is a managing director with Invotex Group and is responsible for the firm’s services and client base within the insurance industry. He has 30 years experience serving the insurance industry and state insurance regulators, providing audit and attest services, as well as a wide variety of advisory services. Prior to joining Invotex, Mr. Finnell led the National Insurance Regulatory Practice for a Big Four accounting firm. A significant part of his responsibilities included developing and maintaining strong relationships with key state insurance regulators and their staffs, as well as with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. Mr. Finnell has served life/health and property/casualty insurance companies, captive organizations and other risk-bearing organizations, as well as providing specialty services on behalf of state insurance regulators. In addition, he has directed numerous regulatory engagements involving risk-focused examinations, corporate compliance, analysis of troubled companies, and assisting state insurance regulators with rehabilitations and liquidations. He has also served in a variety of litigation support roles, providing expert witness testimony on various insurance and regulatory-related matters from damage estimation to contested liquidations. |
